Why has Kirkland Brand Toilet Paper gotten thinner?

I've noticed Kirkland Brand Toilet Paper has gotten thinner. I am very disappointed and am now searching for another brand. We have been purchasing the large (36 rolls) package at Costco, but noticed about a year ago that the individually wrapped rolls are not a good buy. First of all, I don't want the extra plastic and don't feel it's necessary. I also noticed that the paper is thinner. It is really disappointing....anyone else notice this?
