Receding hairline..rogaine? propecia?

I have a receding hairline as well as some loss in the crown...would rogaine foam help? I read up on rogaine foam, and the kirkland minoxidil, as well as propecia..even though they say they are not for frontal hair growth I have heard about people having positive results on it for frontal hair growth at the temples..anyone have any thoughts?
