What do you think of the "tea party" and "progressives" agreeing on getting rid of the Patriot Act?

I can't speak for Tea Party members. Most of them probably voted for bush. But I can say that most Democrats saw the patriot act as unconstitutional and a violation of civil liberties. It is also a violation of the 4th amendment, which the Bush administration and the Republican controlled congress thought they had the right to water down or completely negate.
